At M.L.D, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, high-quality property maintenance and renovation services. To ensure a smooth and transparent experience for all customers, please take a moment to review our policies below:
Payment Policy
• A 50% deposit is required to confirm and secure all bookings.
• The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the agreed work.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer or other agreed methods.
• Final payment is expected within 24 hours of job completion unless otherwise discussed.
Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled start date.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.
• Rescheduling is possible, subject to availability.
Workmanship Guarantee
• All work is carried out by qualified, experienced tradespeople.
• We take pride in the quality of our work and will return to correct any genuine workmanship issues reported within 14 days of job completion.
• This does not cover issues caused by wear and tear, third-party damage, or misuse.
Use of Subcontractors
• Due to high demand and varying workloads, M.L.D may use trusted subcontractors to carry out certain parts of a job.
• All subcontractors are carefully selected and vetted to ensure they meet our standards for quality, professionalism, and safety.
• Subcontracted work is still covered under our customer service and workmanship expectations.
Project Timelines
• We aim to complete all work within the timeframe agreed at the start of the project.
• If delays occur due to weather, material shortages, or unforeseen circumstances, we will keep you informed at every stage.
Customer Responsibilities
• Customers must ensure that work areas are accessible and clear before our team arrives.
• Pets and children should be kept safely away from active workspaces.
• We recommend removing or covering valuables and personal items in work areas, as we cannot be held responsible for accidental damage to unsecured belongings.
Privacy & Data Protection
• Any personal information you provide (such as name, address, and contact details) will only be used to manage your booking and communicate with you.
• We never share or sell customer data to third parties.
Photos & Marketing
• We may take before-and-after photos to showcase our work.
• We will always ask for permission before using any images of your property for marketing or social media purposes.
Liability & Insurance
• MossLoss Domestics (M.L.D) is fully insured for public liability.
• While we work carefully and professionally, we are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing issues or faults not visible before the work begins.
Changes to Policies
• We reserve the right to update these policies at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website or upon request.
